Rio Secreto is approximately 45 minutes from Cancun, and the trip is definitely worth it! Rio Secreto Mexico is an underground river that flows through an incredibly beautiful cave system. These caves feature thousands of stalactites and stalagmites that will make you jaw drop.

During your tour through the underground river at Rio Secreto you will see that the place has been maintained as it was found, without changing a thing, keeping it as a nature preserve.

You will get a renewed vision of the importance of water and the respect for land after your visit! The Rio Secreto cave tour offers an experience that will put you in touch not only with Mother Earth, but with yourself.

Suggestions:

  • Wear comfortable beachwear, swimming shoes and a swimsuit
  • Bring an extra set of clothes (just in case)
  • You can't use any sunscreen lotion at Rio Secreto (you don't need it, since the tour is mostly underground)
