In Xcaret Park Riviera Maya you can swim in an incredible underground river whose flow lets you quietly contemplate the green jungle in Playa del Carmen and relax while cooling off in its crystal clear waters. You can also visit the detailed replicas of a pre-Columbian Maya village, a centuries-past henequen hacienda, and a traditional Mexican cementery. Do not forget to pay a visit to Xcaret's butterfly sanctuary and to its impressive aquarium.

Pick-up times depend on the location of your hotel (or meeting point)
There are some hotels where the transportation service is not available from/to the hotel lobby and you have to go to a nearby meeting point

The minimum age for certain activities is 6 *
Kids up to 59 cm tall or under 4 years old enter free*
Children from 1.00 m to 1.40 m pay children fee*
Children taller than 1.40 m but under 12 years old must present a valid ID with photo to verify their age

Wear comfortable beachwear, swimming shoes and a swimsuit
Bring an extra set of clothes
Your sunscreen lotion must be free of chemicals to be used in Xcaret. If your sunscreen lotion contains any of the following ingredients it shall not be used within the park: benzophenone, etilhexil, homosalate, octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, octinoxate, oxybenzone, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (sunscreen free of all these chemicals is sold at the park)
Bring some cash and a credit or debit card since the use of certain equipment requires a deposit or to pay for any other service not mentioned on the inclusions list
