Flamingos, pelicans, and herons… incredible! Isla Holbox is prized by bird scholars for its population of exotic avian life. Located close to the Yucatan Peninsula, the island is also a popular spot for whale shark sightings and kiteboarders love the shallow waters and long beaches. The white sand streets are practically untouched since most tourists prefer to go to have fun in Cancun which is very close. Diving into Yalahao Lagoon is crazy, almost as crazy as the place.
