This aquarium has a very particular schedule since it is only open on weekends, that is, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The aquarium is located in the busiest area for tourists in Playa del Carmen so you just have to go to the center of the city. Multiple routes of public and private transport converge in that area, so it should not give you problems, you can ask the transport operator if it goes to the center. Being in the center it will be very easy to find the place since you are in a small town in the Mexican Caribbean.
